Wow, I haven't blogged in a long time. Much has happened during my absence. I had a job at Kroger, part-time for 2 years. I quit after much debate with myself; that place doesn't respect anyone, especially in the Starbucks area. I've been looking into becoming a STNA (nurses assistant) helping the elderly stay at home as long as possible. I have also immersed myself more fully into God and his church. This Lent season, which starts today, is going to be Awesome! Adoration is every Wednesday, bible reading everyday, and fasting for 40 days. The Catholic Womens Conference in Columbus was Awesome and very inspiring; much of which has been put into practice.

In any case, I've been trying to keep Chase the Chill going in honor of Susan Huxley. I design a scarf a week; one crochet, one knit posted in Ravelry.com to help people stay inspired in keep it going. I hope everyone feels that it's going well. Please let me know if you are interested in learning more about Chase the Chill. Chickens are doing well, we now have 12 mostly laying hens. My mom's 6 are slowing down their laying; haven't decided what I'm going to do with them when they stop completely. There is no rooster, so we won't have any babies. I might buy six more chicks to keep laying hens around, we'll see what hubby will tolerate, lol. May you all have a Blessed Lent Season and God be with you
